Juvenile roseate tern (Sternus dougallii) begs adult for food. Filey Brigg, North Yorkshire 1dIIN 500 1.4TC tripod This year there was a lot of roseates on Filey Brigg. This is a shot that depicts the behaviour often observed of the young begging for food. This one was unsuccessful in persuading the adult to feed it.
